			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Why do Leftists hate Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin?Why do the Leftists hate the “religious right,” the Tea Party and the entire Republican party? Hatred for these people, for these groups seems to consume a large amount of their time and you must ask yourself, why? The Liberals choose certain members of these groups and attack them relentlessly, attempting to demean them and lessen their intelligence in the mind of the public.<br />
Michelle Bachman is held up as an example of the lunacy of the right, all the while Nancy Pelosi or Hillary Clinton are lofted to positions as examples of the most intelligent women America has to offer.<br />
Actually this hatred stems from the fact that these people pose a threat to the monopoly the Left once held on the media in this country. Leftists still hold sway over at least ninety percent of the information and entertainment dispensing apparatus of this country. The vast majority of American actors, songwriters, musicians, authors, publishers, magazines, newspapers, artists are Leftists.<br />
Even on the internet Yahoo and Google are controlled by the Liberal Left, the one area where Liberals do not hold sway is Talk Radio, try as they may Liberals have not been able to make inroads of any significance into radio.<br />
This fact enrages and at the same time confounds and scares the left, without the loud voices of Right Wing radio the left could continue to be the sole marketers of news and information, their voices would be the only voice Americans would hear and they could lead the political argument anywhere they wished.<br />
The Left hates anyone who does not agree with their world view, the Democrat’s definition of  partisanship is lockstep agreement with them, anyone who disagrees is partisan and anyone who disagrees loudly is framed as a nutcase who needs to be hauled off by men in white coats.<br />
Fact is the Left cannot control Talk Radio or Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachman who regularly expose the Left for what they are and this is something they cannot tolerate, Leftists are all for free speech when that speech follows their line of thought.<br />
The Left has a template that they keep in a drawer somewhere and anytime there is a national disaster they pull that template out of the drawer and with all of their voices in unison proclaim the disaster was caused by those on the Right.<br />
The shooting in Tuscon was one of those times and not wishing to let an opportunity to attempt to destroy their perceived enemies, the chorus of blame began . This was the same template that had been used after the Oklahoma City bombing, nothing had changed but the players.<br />
Politically 1995 and 2011 are exactly the same, you had a Democrat President whose party had just incurred significant losses in the midterm election, this allowed the opposition party to take the reins and frame the arguments; this exact set of circumstances exist today.<br />
“Angry” voices on the Right were blamed then as they were after Tuscon, a call went out from the Left to tone down the vitriol, a call for more partisanship. But then as now the Left did not lay any blame on their side, Democrats, in their minds do not say inflammatory things, if you do not believe me just look on YouTube and listen to what Bill Maher said on the Tonight show last week.<br />
The Left will attack anyone who loudly speaks out in opposition to them, they sow the seeds of hatred against those who do not agree and they seek to minimize them. Opposition cannot be allowed, anyone who exposes the holes in their arguments or exposes the lies must be dealt with, immediately.<br />
The hatred the Left has for the Right stems from the fact that those on the Right are beyond the control of the left, and from the fact that they do not control the argument as they did at one time, in a better time when Republicans quietly sat on their side of the aisle, allowing the Democrats room to basically do as they pleased, a time when all media outlets parroted whatever came out of their mouths and there were no voices of opposition.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is the Barrack Obama economy, high unemployment which certain to rise due to an oil moratorium, foreclosures, Americans standing in line to obtain an application for public housing, extending jobless benefits which assures those looking for work will not look that hard and will for sure not take a lower paying job until something better comes along; you know like we used to do.</p>
<p>Lets not fool ourselves this is the Obama economy, this is it. Mr. Obama is not going to try to fix the economy he believes it was broken before he took office and I mean for the past two hundred years. Make no mistake about it Obama views America as an unfair country, America has been unfair to the poor, unfair to those of color, unfair to other countries; we are just too damn big for our britches and need to be brought down a notch.</p>
<p>This scenario is not the entire story; this President has then to remake the American economy to better fit his vision. He uses to his advantage crises by just letting the crisis run its course then handing out benefits to those affected by that crisis. An example of this is the Gulf oil spill, he basically stayed away from the Gulf Coast until public pressure forced him to reluctantly come down to the coast and spit out a few platitudes.</p>
<p>He then used the oil spill to place a moratorium on deepwater drilling and the result of the moratorium was to halt not only all new deepwater drilling but it has also stopped new shallow water drilling due to uncertainty. Since the oil companies will not allow rigs to sit idle long, the goal of drilling is profit after all, so they are beginning to move rigs from American waters to other countries.</p>
<p>This puts not only fisherman out of work but also thousands of people who make the livelihoods from offshore work which in turn puts more folks on the government teat. But this is part of the Obama plan. When Obama came to the Gulf he told the Governor Bobby Jindal this “Governor if people lose their jobs because of the moratorium they can file a BP claim,” then Jindal asked, “Mr. President with all due respect what if BP doesn’t pay? He said don’t worry Governor they can file an unemployment claim.”</p>
<p>The interpretation of Obama’s response to Jindal is this, the government can just add these people to the permanent welfare class Obama and the Democrats are creating, make them dependent on a government hand out, then we can play our class warfare game and these people will become Democratic voters.</p>
<p>Is this really what we want for America, a country where those who ride in the wagon outnumber the wagon pullers? But this is Obama’s America, and we are in it. The Democratic Party has kept a certain number of Americans in economic slavery since the mid 1960’s and now they seek to add more to the chain gang; will you be next?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are rapidly becoming a country which is ruled by the minority. A very loud minority which is ready at a moments notice to raise its voice in protest of anything it sees as not in its best interest. A very silent majority has and is continuing to allow the minority to slowly take control of the political scene in this country.</p>
<p>Decisions in this country when put to a vote are decided by the majority at the ballot box, but increasingly these majority decisions are coming under fire by various minority groups who do not like the majority decision. These minority groups then mount a protest, a very loud protest, get face time on the nightly news broadcasts and more and more often the majority decision is reversed by a judge somewhere or by the CEO of some company that made a decision that some minority group disagreed with.</p>
<p>The majority of Americans want to stem the tide of illegal immigrants pouring across the border with Mexico; the minority wants what they call immigration to continue. So the minority mounts loud protests, protests in which they call the members of the majority racists and racial profilers. Once the race card is thrown in this country people run for the hills, claims of racism and the seemingly numerous protesters attract the news media, which has an agenda all its own oftentimes in line with the minority protesters; and we all know how that turned out.</p>
<p>Another example would be Prop 8 in California, Majority voted down Gay marriage, the minority began the cookie cutter protests, a Gay judge speaking for the minority said the majority had no right to deny the minority their constitutional right (where is marriage mentioned in the Constitution?) and suddenly the majority had no say in the matter; the minority won through protest.</p>
<p>How long before this method is used in our electoral process? How long before the majority elects the wrong President and the minority mounts loud protests, throws the race card which scares the majority into hiding in their closets and the election is shot down by some judge? We are heading in that direction.</p>
<p>Target Corporation made a decision to contribute to the campaign of a candidate; a decision which they felt was in their corporate interest. The Supreme Court recently made a decision which allows corporations to spend corporate funds directly in elections. This decision by an independent corporation has raised the ire of the minority as the minority leans to the left, and now, let the mayhem and coercion begin.</p>

<p>ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) &#8212; Protestors have been rallying outside Target Corp. or its stores almost daily since the retailer angered gay rights supporters and progressives by giving money to help a conservative Republican gubernatorial candidate in Minnesota. Liberal groups are pushing to make an example of the company, hoping its woes will deter other businesses from putting their corporate funds into elections.</p>
<p>A national gay rights group is negotiating with Target officials, demanding that the firm balance the scale by making comparable donations to benefit candidates it favors. Meanwhile, the controversy is threatening to complicate Target&#8217;s business plans in other urban markets. Several city officials in San Francisco, one of the cities where Target hopes to expand, have begun criticizing the company.</p>
<p>&#8220;Target is receiving criticism and frustration from their customers because they are doing something wrong, and that should serve absolutely as an example for other companies,&#8221; said Ilyse Hogue, director of political advocacy for the liberal group MoveOn.org, which is pressing Target to formally renounce involvement in election campaigns.</p>
<p>But conservative organizations are likely to react harshly if Target makes significant concessions to the left-leaning groups.</p>
<p>The flap has revealed new implications of a recent Supreme Court ruling that appeared to benefit corporations by clearing the way for them to spend company funds directly in elections. Companies taking sides in political campaigns risk alienating customers who back other candidates.</p>
<p>Target&#8217;s $150,000 donation to a business-oriented group supporting Republican Tom Emmer, an outspoken opponent of gay marriage, was one of the first big corporate contributions to become known after the U.S. Supreme Court threw out prohibitions on corporate spending in elections earlier this year.</p>
<p>The Minneapolis-based chain has gone from defending the donation as a business decision to apologizing and saying it would carefully review its future giving. But the protests have continued.</p>
<p>Demonstrators marched near Target&#8217;s Minneapolis headquarters on Thursday, and two Facebook groups focused on gay rights are organizing protests at Target stores nationwide this weekend. Immigrant rights supporters have joined the protests, citing Emmer&#8217;s tough stance on illegal immigration.</p>
<p>The company is in talks with the Human Rights Campaign, a national gay rights organization that wants Target and electronics retailer Best Buy Co., which gave $100,000 to the same group backing Emmer, to match their donations with equal amounts to help gay-friendly candidates.</p>
<p>Fred Sainz, the group&#8217;s vice president for communications, said he is optimistic both companies will respond to the demand. Target has long cultivated a good relationship with the gay community in Minneapolis, and its gay employees have protested the donation.</p>
<p>&#8220;The repair has to be consistent with the harm that was done,&#8221; Sainz said.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a story of a desert, a large and very unkind desert, there are many deserts on planet Earth, some are extremely hot and dry like the Sahara and Death Valley, some are extremely cold and dry like Antarctica and the Arctic. Now we may not think of the Arctic regions as deserts but what is the meaning of the word desert.</p>
<p>Desert: a region so arid because of little rainfall that it supports only sparse and widely spaced vegetation or no vegetation at all:<br />
any area in which few forms of life can exist because of lack of water, permanent frost, or absence of soil.</p>
<p>The Arctic regions of this planet on which we exist are deserts as defined by Merriam-Webster online dictionary as they receive very little moisture and there is permanent frost and absence of soil. The Arctic regions of the Earth actually receive very little moisture annually, Antarctica is a frozen desert with little precipitation; the South Pole itself receives less than 10 cm (4 in) per year, on average. In some places the thickness of the ice is a mile or more: reference from Wikipedia.</p>
<p>Let me see if I can explain this, I am not a scientist, I just play one in my dreams. Now a warning, there may well be some scientific data contained herein, and big words like solar insolation, which by the way Microsoft Word is telling me is spelled wrong and is advising the spelling “insulation” which for this discussion is not the correct spelling.</p>
<p>Other big words may be, orbital parameters, axis, perihelion and Sahara Pump Theory, this is about the world’s largest and most prohibitive deserts; the Sahara.</p>
<p>The Sahara has one of the harshest climates in the world. The prevailing north-easterly wind often causes the sand to form sand storms and dust devils. Precipitation, while rare, is not unknown. Half of the Sahara receives less than 2 cm of rain a year, with the rest receiving up to 10 cm a year. The rainfall happens very rarely, but when it does it is usually torrential when it occurs after long dry periods, which can last for years.<br />
Presently, the climate is changing, and the Sahara is expanding southward by about 30 miles per year.</p>
<p>Now don’t get bored, it may get technical.</p>
<p>During the last Ice Age the Sahara was much larger than it is today but the end of the Ice age brought good times to this desert. As the ice sheets retreated the Northern Sahara dried out but after the ice sheet retreated further the monsoon, which currently brings rain only as far as the Sahel, (The Sahel is the transition zone between the Sahara desert in the North and the Sudanian savannas in the south. It stretches across the north of the African continent between the Atlantic Ocean and the Red Sea) came further north and counteracted the drying trend in the southern Sahara. The monsoon in Africa (and elsewhere) is due to heating during the summer. Air over land becomes warmer and rises, pulling in cool wet air from the ocean, which causes rain. Paradoxically, the Sahara was wetter when it received more solar insolation in the summer. Changes in solar insolation are caused by changes in the Earth&#8217;s orbital parameters (9,000 years ago the Earth&#8217;s axis had a stronger tilt than it does presently, and perihelion occurred at the end of July).<br />
Axis: The earth&#8217;s axis is currently titled at 23.5 degrees and the axis remains pointed at the same position in space .<br />
Orbital Parameters: The earth has an elliptical orbit (egg shaped) instead of a perfect circular orbit, so it reaches perihelion at the large end of the egg shape.<br />
Perihelion: The point in the orbit of a celestial body when it is nearest to the sun.  Our Earth travels around the sun and in essence we are all space travelers, when we are closest to the sun in our orbit around the sun we have reached perihelion</p>
<p>Interpretation: When the Sahara was directly facing the sun it received more heating during summer, thus more solar insolation and as a result the air over the land mass became warmer , rising and pulling in cool wet air from the ocean, which resulted in more rain. The earth’s tilt, in respect to the sun was stronger than it is at present meaning the Sahara was facing the sun more directly than it is now and so the Sahara is robbed of it’s direct sunlight which also robs it of life giving rain.</p>
<p>Satellite imaging has given us access to the world under the sand, vast river systems like those found on Mars have been seen. Archaeologists have discovered societies who seemed to have packed up and just left, with dinner plates on the table as it were. Those former dwellers of this desert painted on the walls of their caves pictures of animals that are nowhere to be found in the Sahara today, Giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and others. The Sahara was lush, even tropical in nature in the past. This change to desert occurred quickly in geological terms; the Sahara may have been inhabited as few as 7,500 years ago</p>
<p>Fact is the Sahara changed numerous times, this earth of ours has been to Hell and back. There were no human beings pouring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere during the warming of the Sahara, the earths tilt and chance changed the climate.</p>
<p>We live on a planet, third rock from the sun, put here by God who made the universe. God gave us what we need to survive and we have for thousands of years. If we become extinct the earth will go on, another species will take over.</p>
<p>Weather has only been measured for a few hundred years, our simple understanding of the weather has only developed in the last one hundred years. Man’s knowledge of planet earth is so limited we are mere infants in its study, we cannot predict the weather more than a few days in advance. We have no idea despite our greatest efforts how strong a hurricane will become or which direction it will take. The National Hurricane Center each year puts forth its best guess on how many storms and named storms will develop; I could take that same information to the casino and have the same odds at winning a million bucks.</p>
<p>Fact is we humans, despite our most valiant efforts do not understand how the earth works but it seems to me that the more science advances and the more questions are raised the more we are inundated with scary scenarios in which the human species may either destroy itself or be killed of by some disaster. It is our technology which has increased the average human lifespan from thirty-five years, a mere two hundred fifty years ago, to seventy five years today and it is that same technology which doomsday theorists put forth as the instrument of our own demise</p>
<p>The ancient Mayans and their 2012 calendar had no more advanced information concerning the destruction of the human species than Al Gore does today. Believe what you will, climate change has been a part of planet Earth since God spoke the earth into existence. God put every element on this planet for mankind to exist and he fully intended for us to exploit those resources or he would not have put them here. He intended for man to increase his knowledge and to pull from the earth that which would propel man from cave dweller or tent dweller to air-conditioned home dweller.</p>
<p>If carbon dioxide from the use of fuels found within the earth is destroying the planet then God himself made a mistake by putting those fuels within the earth for man to find, if you believe that you find yourself believing in a fallible creator; I do not believe God is fallible.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just as has been noted in the past, if the government gives money to people in perpetuity, and it does not matter whether that money is in the form of welfare or food stamps going to those we consider the poor and disenfranchised or whether the government is extending jobless benefits for those folks who are out of work due to the downturn in the economy, what happens in both cases is this creates a disincentive to go out and find honest work.</p>
<p>This is a story from the Wall Street Journal, now the media is beginning to say exactly this same thing. If you give them money they will not go to work and if they will not work the economy will not begin to recover. Any one who wished to find out the Obama plan for America only needed to get past the glitz as he had spelled out in two books his vision. Now not all the blame can be placed on Obama, he has a Congress that is more than willing to follow his lead.</p>
<p>Offer handouts and people will take them, keep the handouts coming, create a permanent underclass that is reliant on government, grow that government, punish the achievers by taxation (and by the way I made less than $45,000 last year so I am not rich, but an achiever) and tell those you are giving the handouts to you are looking out for them by taking from the achievers. This will assure that America will be ready for the next phase of the Obama plan.</p>

<h1>Some Firms Struggle to Hire Despite High Unemployment</h1>

<p>In Bloomington, Ill., machine shop Mechanical Devices can&#8217;t find the workers it needs to handle a sharp jump in business. Job fairs run by airline Emirates attract fewer applicants in the U.S. than in other countries. Truck-stop operator Pilot Flying J says job postings don&#8217;t elicit many more applicants than they did when the unemployment rate was below 5%.</p>
<p>With a 9.5% jobless rate and some 15 million Americans looking for work, many employers are inundated with applicants. But a surprising number say they are getting an underwhelming response, and many are having trouble filling open positions.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is as bad now as at the height of business back in the 1990s,&#8221; says Dan Cunningham, chief executive of the Long-Stanton Manufacturing Co., a maker of stamped-metal parts in West Chester, Ohio, that has been struggling to hire a few toolmakers. &#8220;It&#8217;s bizarre. We are just not getting applicants.&#8221;</p>
<p>Employers and economists point to several explanations. Extending jobless benefits to 99 weeks gives the unemployed less incentive to search out new work. Millions of homeowners are unable to move for a job because the real-estate collapse leaves them owing more on their homes than they are worth.</p>
<p>The job market itself also has changed. During the crisis, companies slashed millions of middle-skill, middle-wage jobs. That has created a glut of people who can&#8217;t qualify for highly skilled jobs but have a hard time adjusting to low-pay, unskilled work like the food servers that Pilot Flying J seeks for its truck stops.</p>
<p>The difficulty finding workers limits the economy&#8217;s ability to grow. It is particularly troubling at a time when 4.3% of the labor force has been out of work for more than six months—a level much higher than after any other recession since 1948.</p>
<p>Some economists fear the U.S. could end up with a permanent caste of long-term unemployed, like those that weigh on government budgets in some European countries. &#8220;It is a very worrisome development,&#8221; says Steven Davis, an economist at the University of Chicago&#8217;s Booth School of Business. &#8220;It leads over a long period of time to social alienation as well as economic hardship.&#8221;</p>
<p>Matching people with available jobs is always difficult after a recession as the economy remakes itself. But Labor Department data suggest the disconnect is particularly acute this time around. Since the economy bottomed out in mid-2009, the number of job openings has risen more than twice as fast as actual hires, a gap that didn&#8217;t appear until much later in the last recovery. The disparity is most notable in manufacturing, which has had among the biggest increases in openings. But it is also appearing in other areas, such as business services, education and health care.</p>
<p>If the job market were working normally—that is, if openings were getting filled as they usually do—the U.S. should have about five million more gainfully employed people than it does, estimates David Altig, research director at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. That would correspond to an unemployment rate of 6.8%, instead of 9.5%.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here we are in the Dog Days of Summer with its oppressive humidity, wildfires and high electricity bills, drunken Russians drowning in the ocean. But also we have unemployment hanging just below ten percent, some places in the country it is in the teens, consumer spending is down, foreclosures are up.</p>
<p>One bright spot, our President turned forty-nine, alright, everyone on three, happy birthday to O….. well ok. So like I said here we are in the Dog Days of Summer. The Romans blamed the hot weather on Sirius, the “Dog Star.” They considered Sirius to be the &#8220;Dog Star&#8221; because it is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major (Large Dog). Sirius is also the brightest star in the heavens besides the Sun. The term &#8220;Dog Days&#8221; was used earlier by the Greeks.</p>
<p>Dog Days were popularly believed to be an evil time &#8220;when the seas boiled, wine turned sour, dogs grew mad, and all creatures became languid, causing to man burning fevers, hysterics, and frenzies.</p>
<p>The Romans blamed the Dog Star for the languid heat of summer when the blame in reality lay with a star in our own solar system, namely the Sun.</p>
<p>Nothing much has changed especially in American politics, the Democrats perpetually blame George Bush for the current economic malaise when in reality it is a star in their own solar system, namely Barrack Obama.</p>
<p>And didn’t Mr. Obama make a speech about the Bush administration which went something like this?</p>
<p>The Bush Administration was a time when the seas boiled, wine turned sour, dogs grew mad, and all creatures became languid, causing to man burning fevers, hysterics, and frenzies.  Maybe not, but he could have.</p>
<p>The President has been in office for nineteen months; the economy is in a shambles and all they can say is “we were left with a mess to clean up, one created by the previous administration.”</p>
<p>Now, either the President, his administration and a large percentage of Democrats in Washington are bumbling idiots, which may be in large part true or the entire group has an agenda which they fully intend to pass no matter what the fallout may be politically.</p>
<p>I believe the latter. Democrats have had an agenda for this country for over fifty years and they view this time in history with this President as maybe the only chance they may have to socialize this country.</p>
<p>And the plan is in effect, unemployment is high and climbing so, instead of doing things which may cause businesses to feel confident and start hiring they threaten tax increases and new fees so that businesses hold off trying to expand. So the Democrats in response extend unemployment benefits, fully intending to make this a new government entitlement causing more Americans to become dependent on Washington for their sustenance.</p>
<p>Thousands of offshore workers are being idled by the drilling moratorium in the Gulf and many more will be added to the unemployment lines. Of course those workers cannot pay their bills, their mortgages or buy groceries. The solution is of course government handouts in the form of food stamps and welfare and offers to pay those mortgages for up to six months which will of course be extended.</p>
<p>Taking over our medical care, extending benefits, creating new entitlements, offering welfare, food stamps are all designed to create a new underclass in America to add to the one government has already created with the entitlement programs it has given birth to in the past.</p>
<p>These programs become a shackle on the leg of everyone who is a dependent of same; they make us slaves of the government instead of the opposite being true. Men begin looking for the next handout and it kills their wish to rise to the top.</p>
<p>John F Kennedy said famously in his familiar Boston accent “<strong>ask</strong> <strong>not</strong> <strong>what</strong> <strong>your</strong> <strong>country</strong> <strong>can</strong> <strong>do</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>you</strong> &#8211; <strong>ask</strong> <strong>what</strong> <strong>you</strong> <strong>can</strong> <strong>do</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>your</strong> <strong>country</strong>,” This is the spirit of the Democrat party of the past. They now wish to make Government our God.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;This is no longer a war of ideology it is a war of thoughts and faith, we have become a country entrenched in idolatry, and that idolatry is the dependency upon our government. We&#8217;re supposed to depend upon God for our protection and our provision and for our daily bread, not on our government.&#8221;</p>

<p>President Bush and his “tax cuts for the rich” as the Democrats like to call them are set to expire in 2011 if you like some of the deductions you get on your tax return, such as the child care credit if you take that or the child tax credit or that standard deduction, get ready. These are some of the deductions that are set to expire or set to decrease, I don’t know if some of you realize this but decreasing a deduction is a tax increase as it reduces the amount of YOUR REFUND and increase revenue to the government A TAX HIKE! This TAX HIKE will be on EVERYONE not just those making ABOVE $200,000 per year, shhhhh, as promised by President Obama; here is a short list.</p>

<p>• The deduction for tuition and fees will no longer be available and there will be limits placed on education tax credits. INCREASING TAXES!</p>
<p>Teachers won&#8217;t be able to deduct their classroom expenses, if you are a teacher and you buy things for your class no more deducting these items on your taxes REDUCING YOUR REFUND, INCREASING TAXES! and employer-provided educational aid will be restricted.</p>
<p>Thousands of families will no longer be allowed to deduct student loan interest, I personally take this deduction every year, after this year me and others who are paying a student loan will no longer be allowed this deduction, REDUCING OUR REFUND! INCREASING OUR TAXES!</p>
<p>Then there&#8217;s the TAX on Americans who DECLINE TO BUY HEALTH INSURANCE (the tax the administration initially said wasn&#8217;t a tax but now argues in court that it is) plus a 3.8% MEDICAIRE TAX beginning in 2013. A NEW TAX, THEY CALL IT A PENALTY!</p>
<p>Despite the Democrats&#8217; oft-heard assertion that Bush merely provided &#8220;tax breaks for the wealthy,&#8221; the fact is, Bush cut taxes for everyone who paid them, and the cuts helped the nation recover from a recession and the worst stock-market crash since 1929.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mr. Obama has put forth his nominee for the highest court in America, the nominee is a woman and a minority, a Hispanic woman. the questioning of this nominee by the Republicans is, as was to be expected,  being characterized the the state run media as racist. the media and the Democrats runs about musing whether this treatment of Ms. Sotomayor will put the Republicans in a bad light as far as Hispanic voters are concerned; &#8220;will this cause the Republicans to lose Hispanics when it comes to the mid-term elections?&#8221; As if these two groups were concerned with the loss of votes the GOP might incur. &#8220;Jeff Sessions must be racist as he is from the south,&#8221; the talking heads bleat.</p>
<p>These questions were never asked of the Democrats when in 1991 George Bush number one nominated Clarence Thomas,  a black man to the Supreme Court. Thomas was castigated by the Democrat lawmakers and Thomas himself equated the hearing to a lynching.</p>

<p>the state run media did not send out the body less commentators to raise a call of racism, Thomas&#8217; questioners were never accused of attacking him because of his color, no one screamed that they were harsh in their approach because some of the southern senators prejudice against Mr. Thomas&#8217; minority status. No, because Clarence Thomas was to be a conservative voice on the court the lynch mob was never called on their actions,  the media was in lock step.</p>
<p>Now that a Liberal president has nominated a liberal judge the race card is thrown on the table. Racism is tossed around each and every time the liberals find it necessary to silence the opposition, this is really only one weapon the libs have at their disposal. When they want to force something down the throats of the American people and it becomes necessary to shut those who would oppose them down they accuse them of  RACISM. This accusation stops all argument. Too bad the conservatives are not willing to wallow in the same pig pen as the liberals, they might find a few effective tricks in that mud hole.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, subjects so important that the authors of the constitution put them first. Miss California, Carrie Prejean has not been denied her freedom of speech, this amendment is basically speaking of being denied the right to free speech due to some government denial of these rights.  She is however experiencing first hand a bully mentality that exists in this country when one steps on the toes of one of the anointed minorities that walk around loudly,  carrying a megaphone and a baseball bat.</p>
<p>In this case it is the homosexual minority which is attempting to beat a majority of Americans into acceptance of their lifestyle and their right to marry. Miss Prejean answered a loaded question which was asked by an angry heterophobic blogger whose claim to fame are his etch-a-sketch style drawings of penises on his website. His reasons for asking this question were agenda driven, her answer gave him a platform from which to scream his outrage and started the clock ticking on his fifteen minutes.</p>
<p>The media, whose mantra &#8220;if it bleeds it leads&#8221; smelled blood in the water, picked up their Louisville Sluggers and joined in the melee. By the next day the lead in on most news outlets was how Miss California had made these &#8220;controversial&#8221; statements, when the actual controversy is not her belief in marriage between a man and a woman, which by the way is many centuries old, but the neuvo religion of  homosexual matrimonial rights.</p>
<p>Then came the proverbial photos, somehow these lost photos are always found just in time to be used against the folks who are the target of whichever group happens to be in a frenzy at the moment. These photos which were proclaimed &#8220;nude photos of Miss California&#8221; were actually not nude but topless and from the back,  but nude sounds so much more provocative. Now the clamor was for her to resign, even though Miss Rhode Island, Alysha Castonguay had appeared in a photo spread in Maxim magazine, oh but she did not make a statement supporting traditional marriage so she doesn&#8217;t count.</p>
<p>the lesson here is if we Americans continue to sit on the sidelines and allow tiny but very belligerent minorities bully us the day may come when it will be a repressive government that pulls out the bats and beats us literally for voicing views that they do not agree with.</p>

<p>Take one Perez Hilton, he is in no way talented but his views on gay marriage fit the template set by the media, so the media like one of those claw vending machines in an arcade picks up Mr. Hilton and other marginal  &#8220;celebs&#8221; and plops them onto what they call the mainstream. They are then allowed to speak for the whole of America. The latest instance of just add water celebrity,  Hilton has become the mouthpiece for the supposed outrage the entire country feels over the comments of  the runner up to a Miss America contest.</p>
<p>Hilton is wheeled out on what now passes for news and allowed to speak for all of us in fly-over country, they talk of  how controversial and radical Miss California&#8217;s comments were, he blathers on about how he was not upset with her disagreeing with him on the issue of gay marriage, he was upset with her answer to his question&#8230;..huh? How did it suddenly become controversial in this country to be against the gay life style? In reality it isn&#8217;t controversial at all to a huge majority of Americans, it is only controversial in the pseudo-world of that square (or rectangular) box that where this media obsessed society prays before sitting down to supper of order in pizza.</p>
